Riding home from school yesterday I ask my boys (6 and 4.5) "how was your day?" Luke tells me about the leprchauns he will see tomorrow, IF he wears green. Aleks says, "I wish you were at school with me everyday" awwww, my heart melts, "then you wouldn't ask me that everyday!"

Later Luke wants to know "how does the sun go down?". I explain to my 4 yr old about how the sun doesn't move but the earth does, yadda yadda. My 4 yr old takes it all in. My 6 yr old is listening intently and as I finish, he says "how do you know that?" As if at some point between 4 and 6 my information must now be proven? Is kindergarten the age of skepticism?
